I had the opportunity to work on the raisable walls added to World’s Edge in Season 6 of Apex Legends. This wall provided a unique challenge with multiple teams coming together on this task. During its production, a lot of back and forth between concept, environment, design, rigging, animation, engineering, and vfx was needed to get everything working correctly in game. My main responsibility was modeling and texturing this asset. Special thanks goes to Jake Virginia for being the point person on the Season 6 World’s Edge update and for providing help and guidance on the raisable walls. Game dev is a collaborative effort. Many assets, textures, and props were pulled from our library and were created by multiple artists.
